1940s Marked Ernest Steiner Walnut Sewing Kit This is hotsell a rare and unique sewing kit from 1940s from Ernest Steiner. The kit is a golden metal walnut and measures 1 1/4 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches long. It opens to reveal a royal blue felt interior containing a thimble on one side and pins, needle, and thread on the other. A gold foil "Ernest Steiner Original" label is under the pins. The kit closes with a metal ring clasp. There is some minor wear and possible surface scratches on the exterior of the walnut, but it is in good condition overall with a secure hinge and clasp. Very nice little vintage sewing kit!.
