This Ametrine has a nice play of color due to the custom faceted cut of this large oval approx 15cts 15mm x 20mm oval. Seated in a 4 prong basket solitaire mounting 925 Sterling silver. Size 9 1/2. The table is convex which magnifies the play of color from the bottom facets. It looks different in every light. Sometimes subdued, with a ray of light it will flash brilliant sparkle. It's hard not to hold it and just turn it under any light. Ametrine is both Citrine and Amethyst with the color combined during formation.
