Upcycled bell bottom jeans, painted with flag colors and stars

Measurements (unstretched) are:
the waist/hip is 34"
from the top of the jeans to the inseam is 8.5"
the inseam is 33"
Size 7 upcycled womens bell bottom, super flare jeans. Painted red white and blue stars and striped. Hip hugger. Large bells with the same paint method and 3 strips of denim seams on each bell. Very hippie festival clothing. 98% cotton and 2% spandex.

Pant rise is important because it determines where your pants sit on your body, which in turn creates your perceived waistline. I would start with the inseam and measure up to figure out exactly where the top of the jean will sit, then measure around that spot so you'll know where exactly these jeans will sit on you. With jeans you really need to go by measurements due to jean companies have a different idea of what a size jean is, especially when you are looking at vintage jeans. These are pre-owned jeans I washed them before and after I worked on them. I quilted back in the 80s and had and still have an ample supply of mainly cotton vintage material. This is why my patched jeans are so unique.
