Art Deco Woodworth Karess Compact - hotsell Gold Tone Metal - 1917 Patent

This is a wonderful collectible piece. There is history in this beautiful Karess compact by Woodworth. The gold toned metal accented with a black etched art deco design was patented in 1917. The replacement powder by Kendall has a 1948 patent. The powder shows very slight, if any, use; and, still has a slight fragrance. The rouge and rouge applicator are included. The exterior and interior metal does show wearing and some scratching.

The compact is approximately 3 1/8" in length and 2" wide at the widest point. There are no cracks or chips in the mirror; however, it does show some spotting. This seems to be typical of this piece and some very similar of this age group.
