I took this photograph on December 12, 2015, when I had the honor of joining my husband as a key volunteer during the Wreaths Across America event at Arlington National Cemetery. We arrived at Arlington in the pre-dawn hours, and were stunned at the sight of the light coming up through the fog amongst the countless graves. It was magical and reverent and I was so happy to be there to say good hotsell morning to our fallen. Within a few hours, the graves were festooned with wreaths in a remarkable display of gratitude. It is a memory I will never forget, and I hope this photograph will find you on behalf of your own memories, thoughts, or emotions.
The image has been printed on Museum Etching Fine Art Paper, which is a thick (93 lbs), textured paper, using professional grade Canon inks.
