Stoneware Pottery Mixing Bowl - Brown Glaze
Circa 1930s
Add farmhouse charm to your kitchen with this vintage crockery style batter bowl. Bowls like this were a kitchenware staple in the first half of the 1900s. Households depended on them for daily meal preparation.
This primitive brown glazed mixing bowl has rustic appeal. The bowl is in very good condition for hotsell its age. The glossy glaze highlights the stoneware's imperfections and blemishes due to the unrefined manufacturing process. There is expected wear around the bowl's rim and small glaze flaws on the edges. These faults add both authenticity and character to the bowl's appearance. The base of the bowl is unmarked.
Please note that there is a small glaze chip on the interior edge of the bowl's rim. This imperfection has been identified on the last 2 photographs included in the item's listing. Please use your device's Zoom feature to inspect. The little chip does not compromise the bowl's function.
Good Vintage Condition.
Rim Width - 9 1/4" inches
Height - 4 1/2" inches
Capacity - 14 cups
