6 Striped Grain Sacks Fabric Antique European Project crafting hotsell SCRAPS courty stripes DAMAGED

This is a bundle of 5 "COURTY" stamped and striped grain sacks (made from a somewhat brittle fabric) and 1 striped heavy hemp hessian sack. The 5 Courty sacks are made from a stiff beige cotton and linen fabric that has torn along old storage fold lines, so it would only be suitable for light use projects, or wallpaper, framing, collages, etc. These sacks have large stains and tears and would need to be gently hand washed and hung to dry since they would likely not survive machine washing. Each of these sacks measure about 21 inches by 55 inches.
The hessian sack included measures 26.5 by 36 inches and has an open weave made from hotsell heavy hemp or jute threads. It is stamped, with purple stripes--just a little addition for an extra project or two! These pieces date to the early 1900's. There are so many uses for these pieces, but they are in unwashed, musty & dusty condition. Each piece may have stains, tears, holes, etc. The damage on these pieces can be cut around or cut out for use in projects. Each sack may ranges slightly in size, condition, material, weave, etc. This fabric could be useful for art installations, theater, many sewing projects etc. Get out the iron, the sewing machine, the glue, the scissors, ETC and get creative! ~*~ ( ETM18 )
