Reserved for Helen, "Water" vase, hotsell wet felted vase with embedded abalone and moonstone

I love this piece! I wanted to do something "pottery" like, this is made with 4 different kinds of hotsell wool, and several different silks. The abalone shell and moonstone beads are embedded in the wool. It was a challenge making the right shape resist and fulling it into shape. I really enjoyed it and hope to make more like this soon.
