Made in the late 1950s to early 1960s in Murano Italy, designed by master Fratelli Toso. Has TWO polished flat bases. It can sit up as a vase or catch-all, or it can sit on the side and become an ashtray complete with two rests. Hand blown in triple cased glass; first layer is yellow, second is white and the final layer is clear. Beautiful, interesting and useful glass form. No chips or cracks. Bottom rest has very little chipping on edge of base. There is an air bubble in the hotsell glass on back that is part of the glass blowing production. Measures 8″ long, 4″ wide and 4″ tall.
