This bead bracelet is hand crafted using both Leather Wrap and Spanish Knot techniques. It is made of round turquoise beads and leather cord with an antique silver button clasp that looks like a sand dollar.
Leather Wrap is a fairly easy technique where beads are strung in between two strands of leather cord. The idea is simple, but getting a bracelet that is tight, and straight, is much more difficult. Design options are endless and the results have a rustic, hip, organic look. Often the most fun part is picking a original, funky button for the clasp.
This bracelet is made of round turquoise beads and dark brown leather. It will mold well around the wrist. It is very easy and comfortable to wear.
The turquoise beads have lots of veining and are really beautiful. The veins pick up the color of the leather.
The bracelet has 2 closings and can be either 6 1/2 or 7 1/2 inches long.
