3-D Mixed Media Fiber Art, Blue and Yellow hotsell Fiber Art, Driftwood Fiber Art, 8" x 8"

This unique three dimensional mixed media fiber art would be a stunning addition to your decor. The piece is made to sit on a tabletop, hang on the wall or would be very cool propped on an easel. The piece measures 8 inches by 8 inches and has a depth of about 3 inches.
The piece was created with wool roving in shades of blue, lime green, white and yellow. The upper fiber piece was heavily stitched and then molded to the shape. Blue and white beads and blue wire were added to embellish hotsell. The lower fiber piece was created with the same wool roving and was attached to a wrapped canvas board that was painted dark blue. The bottom roving piece hangs over the edge of the board in several places. The pieces were securely assembled with blue wire. A piece of blue fiber also embellishes through the middle. The unique piece of driftwood was treated and then wired to the rest of the components.
It was my intent for the piece to sit on a table or prop on an easel but if you prefer, a wire has been added so it could be hung slightly on the diagonal as in the first photo. It will hang with one small nail.
All of my fiber art is created in my pet free and non-smoking home studio.
