This is an Illustrated Two-Volume Dictionary Set. These are large burgundy leather volumes with a gold gilt titles and detailing. The page edges are colored in a bright red marbling. This dictionary is split between the two volumes. The first, holds words spanning from A to the word Lobar. The second, holds the words between Lobate through Z. They measure approximately 11” tall by 9” wide. The set together measures 5” wide when put together on a shelf. The two volumes hold a total of 1,506 printed pages. A beautiful, huge reference book set from the year 1960.
