Vtg White hotsell Milk Glass Cake Pedestal/Cake Stand/Dessert Serving Plate Square Scalloped Diamond-Pattern L.E. Smith(?) Vintage

This is a vintage, white milk-glass, cake pedestal. It is unmarked and I am unsure as to the maker, but it could possibly have been made by the “L.E. Smith Glass Company”. This beauty has simple, classic styling which is not too overdone. It measures 4.5 inches in height by 10.5 inches in diameter with a base measurement of 4.5 inches in diameter. It features a round, 8 sided, fluted, scalloped base topped with a square-shape, serving platform. The platform is trimmed with a mini, scalloped edge and the bottom hotsell is finished with a raised, diamond pattern. It is a very-pretty, cake pedestal in a rather unusual, square design.
