Product code: Vintage hotsell 1950s “Shore Leave” Barkcloth Fabric
One thing I never dreamed of seeing on a piece of vintage 1950s bark cloth is telephone poles, but I sure do like them. The name of this fabric is Shore Leave and that kind of says it all. There are sailors out on the town, there are sail boats, unusual houses, all strung hotsell together with telephone poles and wires. There are some very small spots on one part.
Along the selvage it says, A Puritan Van Print, Shore Leave. This piece of vintage 1950s barkcloth fabric is ruff at the top edge but hemmed on the bottom. There is still plenty of fabric for a small window curtain in a beach house, or shore cottage.
This classic piece of bark cloth measures:
35” long x 45" wide.
