Creativity and artists are a recurring theme in my work, as well as images of children. Here is a combination of the two.

One day in my studio, I was doodling a child by the sea hotsell drawing on sand. I imagined him immersed in his creativity, in the natural environment with all the tools at hand. Humans are born creators and all we need is a stretch of sand and a stick!

Simplicity and expressiveness of a line is my long-standing artistic aspiration. That particular doodling session resulted in two drawings. Same motive, little changes, subtle but profound difference in the attitudes of the boys: one is forward and victorious, the other is more contemplative, withdrawn...
