1920s Seashell Sea Shell Decorated hotsell FOLK ART 12" Religious Cross, Just Beautiful

Wonderful antique Victorian sailor's art or folk art seashell cross measuring about 12" tall, 8" wide and 1-1/2" deep. Mounted with a variety of shells on a sturdy wood cross, back bears a sturdy ring hanger - this is a substantial, well made piece with shells covering the sides as well. It was shellacked to protect from damage which has colored the finish a warm gold, almost iridescent tone.

Condition is lovely -- I find no missing or damage shells (amazing) - the shells on the cross arms top edge and the very top are dusty and dark from age. Just a beautiful antique seashell cross. Visually interesting with wonderful folk art appeal - nice addition to any collection or display!
