The Precious Blessing handmade embroidered christening/baptism baby quilt is destined to become a family heirloom. The quilt combines squares of lined white lace, shimmering satin, dotted swiss, embroidered velour and lined embroidered eyelet fabric with lambs and scripture embroidered on poly/cotton twill for an elegant variety of textures. One square is embroidered with Isaiah 40:11 "He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart". The quilt measures approximately 27" X 31" and each square is discreetly corner-tacked over low loft polyester batting and cuddly soft snow white minky dimple dot for stability. All fabrics have been pre-washed prior to embroidery and construction. Care instructions are simple - just hand or machine wash cold water on delicate cycle (no bleach or liquid fabric softener), tumble dry at low heat and if ironing is desired, use a press cloth on the front only and do not touch iron to minky backing.
