Leaf Box, stoneware and porcelain, wood/soda-fired, handmade by David Voorhees hotsell Pottery

hotsell Wheel formed stoneware lidded box with added porcelain leaf, hand carved. A warm satin glaze has been used and darker iron staining in carved accent areas. Soda is infused at top temperature, around 2300F. The interior is unglazed. Collectible, one-of-a-kind, fine stoneware pottery. Signed and dated by the artist. 2020
