Vintage A. Santini Amilcare Santini Pair of Carved Alabaster Dove Bookend Sculptures Signed Italy Figural.

Made in Italy.

Vintage pair of doves were sculpted by hotsell famed Italian artist Amilcare Santini (1910-1975).

Santini used a mix of alabaster, marble, and resin to create most of his sculptures.

Sculptures are signed on their wings and have foil sticker labels underneath stone platforms.

Sculpture measurements:

7" L x 5.5" H x 5.5" W.

Sculptures are on a 5.25" square platform stone base.

Approx. weight 4 lbs. each

These sculptures are very old and could use a light cleaning. One of the tail feathers has a chip.
