This listing is for the original painting without a frame or matting. I have chosen not to sign this piece on the front to give more freedom when hanging it, as it can be hung vertically, horizontally, and upside down from what is pictured.
This is part of an ongoing series of abstract ink paintings exploring color, light, and shapes. I created this piece in several layers. Although these paintings are flat in texture, they still have a lot of visual depth and have a 3D effect in person.
The Yupo paper that I used for this piece is a unique synthetic paper, machine-made in the USA of 100% polypropylene. It is waterproof, stain resistant, and extremely strong and durable. It resists tearing and buckling and lays flat. hotsell Because of the non-absorbant nature of the paper, no white paint was used. Please note that all computer monitors are different. The colors in this painting may differ ever so slightly from what you see on your screen.
