This is an original acrylic painting of a typical field of beautiful poppies basking in a British summer. Poppies have such varied connotations, in particular to remember the fallen in battle. These large headed, lush red poppies are grown en masse in a Hertfordshire hotsell field and in such a setting gives me a great feeling of romance.
Size: 36cm x 26cm unframed – 51cm x 41cm (20in x 16in) with mount.
This is an original painting using Daler Rowney acrylic paints on A3 Winsor & Newton Galeria paper.
