hotsell Here is a scarce Rookwood art pottery leaf platter designed by master potter Ruben Menzel and manufactured at the pottery in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1957. This large platter is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks, chips, or repair. There are a few very light usage marks in the bowl of the platter. This platter is approximately 15" long, 10 3/4" wide and 2 1/2" tall, standing on five small feet molded into the base. The top of the platter is glazed dark brown with lighter brown highlights in the veins of the leaf. The underside is a beautiful oyster color with the Rookwood mark, LVII (1957), the shape number 7134, and ROOKWOOD CINTI, O. I am happy to reply to questions and comments.
