Hotsell Vintage Stoneware Jug with Handle Crock Pottery Unusual Design

This listing is for a Vintage Stoneware Jug with Handle. It measures approximately 11 1/4" hotsell tall and 7" in diameter. It is a bone color (just a shade darker than the photos) and finished with a
medium gloss. It has a chunky knob on top for a handle and a slit cut at the bottom. I really don't know what it is used for, maybe a bird feeder? It is definitely different and would make a great conversation piece and addition to your collection! It is in good condition with a two tiny chips at the opening (see photos).
