I may have gasped when I found these four Lefton snack sets. You will receive the exact four sets shown in these photos, so please view all of the pictures.
Each set consists of a shell-shaped plate and a scalloped tea cup. The plates measure 8" by 7.75", and the tea cups are 2 1/16" tall.
Made by Lefton in the 1950s and marked handpainted, these sets have a powder blue background and lavender flowers with green leaves; in addition, there are gold scrolls and flowers as well as a scalloped gold pattern painted around the edges of the plates and cups. You may see some minor utensil scratches since these are truly vintage and were used in the past. The spaces where the cups are to sit are white, and the interior of the cups is also white. Each cup has three lavender flowers with green stems painted inside--such a lovely detail. There is minor paint loss to the gold paint in some areas.
Some of the pieces have a single black dot which I believe to be factory flaws. Please view photo 7: there is a chip on this plate; if you purchase this set, you are agreeing that you read this and you fully understand this chip exists.
