The main fabric of this vest is an amazing, light weight wool suiting with a wonderful soft feel to it. The wool has a checked look to it. The main color is a light greenish tan with light blue squares. In the back we used a navy blue linen and it is lined with a fun cotton floral. I would recommend dry cleaning when needed.

There are three double welt pockets. The vest is top stitched to keep it looking sharp. There are darts to trim in the waist a bit and a buckle in the back to cinch it in more if needed. The collar goes the full way around the neckline. The full collar is the historically correct style. Hollywood gives the impression that the collar should stop at the shoulder seams but that is not accurate.
