Hoganas Höganäs yngve Blixt wall tile abstract Scandinavian hotsell modern plaque Seglats / Sailing 1973 lions club
This is a signed ceramic wall tile designed by Swedish designer Yngve Blixt for Lions Club in a limited addition in 1973. Entitled Seglats which translates as Sailing.
The tile is in excellent vintage condition with no scratches, marks, or chips. It measures 17.5 cm tall and 17 cm wide.
The color is amber and with a greenish blue glaze in the center. It definitely has all the qualities of mid century modern Scandinavian design making it so versatile. It is cool enough to be displayed on its own but could also add an interesting twist to your gallery wall.
If you are a fan of the abstract then Blixt rare piece is a real find.
