Renoir Copper 'Ebony Lace' Shadowbox Bracelet - 1950s, book piece, ad piece, MCM

This is a beautiful copper bracelet made by Renoir in the early 1950s. The design has square links with a perforated frame top.
Each link is about 3/4 of an inch square. The bracelet measures 7.5 inches end to end including the box clap.

This piece hotsell is shown in the 'Copper Art Jewelry A Different Lustre' by Burkholz and Kaplan on page 92. It was also featured in a 1950 magazine ad.

This lovely is marked Renoir Pat Pend on the back of the end link. You can't beat the mid century modern design!
