Cutting board made from Cherry, Walnut, Maple, White Oak. Finished cutting board is end grain of the wood, which provides a much more sturdy surface to cut on. Compared to normal long grain cutting board will last longer in between refinishing.
Finished with a food safe finish that is made from Mineral oil, Beeswax and Carnauba Wax.
Measurements: 17.5" long x 11.5" wide x 1.0" thick and weighs 5 pounds.
Already has a Juice groove 3/4" from the outside edge, for cutting meats or wet items, and holds the juice that comes off of those items.
I can add rubber feet to the bottom of the board if desired (drop down menu on the right).
Do not put cutting boards in the dishwasher. Needs to be oiled every month or so depending on use, and can be done with inexpensive cutting board oil purchased at big box stores. It is best hotsell to store all real wood cutting boards on their side, so as to allow airflow around the whole board. This will help with warping of the cutting board, especially on boards less than 1" thick.
