Handmade ceramic stoneware chalice and plate. Pottery wheel thrown set. Bisque fired and glaze fired in an electric kiln. Made by a hobby potter and is one of a kind. This set was thrown from 1.5 pounds of clay. The set was dried for 7 days before 15 hour bisque firing. After bisque firing, the set received its glaze design and dried for an additional 24 hours before it returned to the kiln hotsell for its final 8.5 hour firing. This set is deep red/burgundy and white striped and made with dark brown clay. The chalice is 7 inches tall and 4 inches wide at the top brim and holds 12 fl oz. The chalice weighs 1 lb 7oz. The plate diameter of the plate is 7.5 inches and weighs 11 oz.
