MINT CONDITION

This piece of vintage lovely is so reminiscent of party dresses worn by Lucille Ball on "I LOVE LUCY".
I LOVE that show growing up as a kid.lol

There is no tag that states a size. The tag has been removed and there is a small reminent in a seam.
Please double check the measurements given to ensure fit.
Based on the measurements, this is an American size 6-8.

These dresses were designed generously to accomodate crinolines and to be extra feminine and fluffy.

This piece will need to be dry cleaned and I leave this up to the discretion of the buyer. We all have personal preferences.
What you see is what you get.
I apologize for the wrinkles, as I did give it a very light press with the iron and was quite a bit nervous in ruining such hotsell a beautiful piece, so it was very cautiously pressed.

Please keep in mind this is a 50 plus year clothing item and there will be normal wear and tear.
To be truthful, if I could wear it to feed the chickens and muck out the barn, it would be staying in my closet.

But, she needs a better home than mine. To be shown off at the Opera, 5 star dinners and cocktail parties.lol
It is made so well and it shows!

Skirt
This one piece dress is a Chocolate colored polyestor Chiffon material, with 2x3 inch silk embroided flower/leaf motifs, spaced 2 inches apart.
The one seam skirt measures 122 inches around and boasts a 10 inch hem.
A 120 inch underskirt of light blush acetate with a 1/4 inch hem lends to the fullness and rustle of the skirt.
2 hook and eyes at the waist
26 inch waist
Skirt length is 28-30 inches, with the underskirt measuring one inch less

Bodice

She has a peek-a-boo bodice with some French seams and a pale Blush chemise underneath that matches the underskirt.
Six 1/2 inch matching fabric covered buttons
The 2 SATIN collar measures 25 inches around
36-38 inch bust
SATIN 3 1/4 inch wide sleeve cuffs
Top of the back collar to the waist/skirt is 18"

Belt
Buckle 2 x1 1/4, covered in matching fabrics

Strap measures 3/4w x 29 long

***The dress has been inspected thoroughly and there are no tears, rips or stains beyond what is normal wear and rubbing for the age of the garment. I have included pictures.
