Custom 1959 Mercury Park Lane Garage Banner
The Mercury Park Lane was introduced in 1958 from the Mercury division of the Ford Motor Company as the flagship for the Mercury division. It was marketed as a luxury vehicle and was powered by a 430 cubic-inch Ford MEL V8. This classic beauty had beautiful styling and encompassed the designs hotsell of the 50's era. The Buckhorn Motel sign pictured was a vintage hot springs Motel in Mesa, Arizona which opened in 1939, it started out as a gas station and store, Ted and Alice Sliger developed the property into a resort complex which opened in 1939. The daylight version of this banner features the sign from the Blue Top Drive-in that is in Highland, Indiana and is a hot spot for classic car shows.
