This lovely pendant is one of my very latest creations. It is made from a disc of silver which I textured with a special hammer that I made myself. I then formed this sphere into a cup. I took another disc of silver exactly the same diameter and made that into a cup. I cut out quite a lot of the second cup and soldered both pieces together, made a hanger and polished the finished article.

I matched this textured sphere with a snake style chain.

These days, I choose only to buy all my precious metals, whether it be gold, silver or platinum, from bullion dealers who use recycled materials. I believe this is far better for the world in the long run.

Like nearly all of the chains that I sell have what is known as a 'lobster claw' catch. This kind of catch is far stronger than and superior to most of the standard catches one finds on chains. It is also far more beautiful and easier to open and close.
