This handmade crocheted shawl / super scarf was hand-crocheted by me using a gorgeous novelty fiber, containing a blend of cotton and acrylic strands. This is a one-of-a-kind fiber that features strands of two shades of pink, plus a black strand that has tiny bits of color as well (yellow, green, blue, hot pink). This yarn alternates with bands of a fine acrylic yarn in solid black. The yarn is incredibly soft and has a lovely drape. I used a larger hook and a stitch pattern that is lacy, but yet substantially cozy. I absolutely love the way this scarf turned out. This is a bohemian piece that will take you anywhere; a pretty extra layer. Wrap it in any number of ways to add a bit of elegance to an otherwise dull day. You could even fasten it with a vintage brooch!

Being a nurse, I also think this would make a fantastic and stylish "privacy cover" for breastfeeding mothers. Airy enough to not be smothering, yet allows for a bit of privacy during mealtimes.

I have also accented each end with a thick luxurious tassels of the same yarns plus a few more that coordinate, which gives some additional length, and movement.

This is a one-of-a-kind creation (as all of my items are), so if you like this one, don't let it get away from you. This pretty wrap would make a wonderful gift for that special someone of your shopping list. After all, shawl and scarf accessories make great presents, because essentially, one size fits all.

This "super scarf" measures 52" long, plus the 7 1/2" fringe at each end makes a hotsell total length of 67". The width is a generous 16". It is happy to be loosely draped, or wrapped up tighter when the evening air is cooler. Wider scarves are in this season - and this piece fits the bill!

This garment's content is cotton and acrylic I recommend you gently hand wash this accessory in cool water, mild detergent, roll it gently in a fluffy towel to absorb most of the moisture, and allow it to air dry flat.
