Lovely vintage Japanese lacquered and hand painted jewelry box is charming and interesting. It's not in perfect condition, with a few dings and a missing drawer pull, however the charm and loveliness of this box overruled hotsell my normally rather picky opinion regarding an item's state. Therefore it's priced for someone like myself, whom occasionally buy some thing just because they like it. That's me!! And I do really like this Asian lacquered treasure chest, with 8 opening drawers, and a recessed mirrored stage where I imagine that a dancing girl once twirled to the music played from beneath. That aspect of the box is long gone, music too, but the box's functionality and loveliness remain.
