Vintage 1930s Reproduction Dress in Raspberry Colored Satin Made in the 1960s, Great Bias Seaming, Wide Belt & Fab Vintage Size, Full hotsell Length
Stunning raspberry silk satin reproduction of a 1930s full length gown made probably around the 1960s or so. Bias seaming, bound neckline and armscyes. Side left closures on an angle. Full length with a scalloped hem. Wide structured belt. Slight train (puddle) to the back. The fabric is so soft and supple. Great vintage size.
No label, handmade.
Condition is good. Signs of general wear and age. The belt has only the hooks not the corresponding bars for closures. Easily added and then the size can be determined so the belt as is now is hotsell versatile. Set in wrinkles on the belt. The left shoulder seam is 3" and the right shoulder seam is 3 1/2". The scalloped hem is executed a bit roughly in some areas, see pics. Dry cleaned and ready to wear.
