NOTE: Theses are not the print dates for this book as so many sellers seem to think. These are the copyrights for the individual stories. Donohue was the first publisher of this collection, in summer of 1941. There is no way to tell first printings from printings up to 1947 as they all had the same format. In 1947 that changed to a paper spine. 95 pages.
This oversized (12-1/4" X 10") hardcover has cloth backed pictorial boards. The boards are immaculately clean and bright. Corners are worn and bumped. Spine has light rubs and a bit of fade just at the ends. Binding is sewn and cloth reinforced, so is very tight. Pages are bright white and clean (please excuse the blue tint). There are a few minor wrinkles at page bottoms from turning, but no tears or stains. Interior is really near fine. Most pages are illustrated, and full color illustrations alternate with b&w. See pic for Table of Contents. The scarce dust jacket has light shelf soil at edges, with quite a few chips and tears, though in its new mylar it looks presentable.
