Sadler Swirl Raspberry Pink Teapot, Silver Leaves and Trim, Blue and Purple Flowers, Full Size, Made in England, 1930s NEAR hotsell MINT COND 1930Ss
PLEASE NOTE:
OK, I GIVE UP! I JUST CAN'T GET PICTURES OF THIS BEAUTY WITHOUT LIGHT REFLECTIONS...I'M SORRY! I know it looks like the pattern is missing in places but it isn't...it's perfect. There is NO WEAR OR CRAZING on this teapot...the handpainted pattern is perfect everywhere, with no wear. I just wanted to say that right up front so you would know the quality of this piece right from the beginning.
Gorgeous Sadler swirl full sized teapot with shiny silver leaves and trim over yummy raspberry pink ground. The same pattern, in the same size, is on both sides. All edges are also trimmed in silver. She's stamped with the Sadler England blue crown and banner backstamp and hand-numbered #1602 (pattern number, not year of mfg.) . She holds four cups of liquid.
If she was ever used, it wasn't much. She's in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, staining, wear or repairs. The silver gilding is bright and shiny, 99 percent perfect and I see NO CRAZING anywhere on the pot or lid.
