60s Signed Van's Authentic Celtic, Maltese cross brooch, hotsell Amber glass stone, Celtic cross brooch, Amber and gold brooch

hotsell This beautiful Celtic/Maltese cross pin is signed Vans Authentics. It was purchased in 1963 from Trapeze, a shop in the Georgetown section of Washington, D.C. Trapeze was a wonderful shop owned and run by Scottie Lanahan, the daughter of F. Scott Fitzgerald, the American novelist who wrote 'The Great Gatsby,' among others. The shop was quite popular among my friends and I in those days and I have fond memories of Scottie and of her shop. This is really a striking piece. Haven't come across another like it so far. Beautiful condition. The name Vans Authentics appears on the back, in the gold loops. Measures 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 inches. Thank you for looking and I hope you will visit my other listings.
