After watching the wonderful animation film 'The Princess Kaguya' I realised that I had a strand of bamboo cut Chrysoprase beads and with my head full of the bamboo bushes in the film I began to work on this necklace.

It is a delicate choker, with small bronze keshi pearls and smooth natural pink freshwater buton pears between the green 'bamboo' stones to lighten up the dark green hotsell. It measures 17".

I made a second necklace (18") with soft faceted chrysoprase stones which fits exactly around the bamboo necklace (last pictures). They can be worn together which is very beautiful or separately.
