This authentically detailed replica costume is instantly recognizable as the first and still often considered the greatest president in American history: George Washington. During the American Revolutionary War, George Washington led the Continental Army to victory and is one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. After the war, he was unanimously elected president twice, wherein he oversaw the creation of a strong and well-financed national government. He presided over the convention that drafted the U.S. Constitution, which to this today remains the supreme law of the land.

We have recreated the iconic look of “the father of his country” with a superior poly-cotton blend fabric that retains quality while being easy to clean. The coat comes in rich royal blue with khaki contrast panels and features silver button detail. The knickers (pants) are khaki, reach to just below the knee, and feature an elastic waist. The khaki vest is backless, ties around the waist in the back feature a lace jabot (ruffle) at the neck, and attaches with Velcro at the back of the neck.
