Vintage Mexican Pottery, Set of 4 Rustic Mexican Bowls with Lids
Mexican vintage pottery bowls featuring a floral design is from Tonala or Tlaquepaque, c. 1940's-60's. These rustic hotsell pottery pieces were created for the tourist trade soon after the end of the Mexican revolution, and they have now become highly collectible.
Very good vintage condition for this type of item. Typical glaze chipping and other typical imperfection considered normal for this age and type of rustic pottery. It is these sort of flaws that lends a certain charm and authenticity to this old Mexican pottery. The lids are loose fitting.
Decorative use only, it's possible the glaze could contain lead. Very unusual to find this pottery with the lids. Please see photos for sizes and condition. Two smaller pots are the same size.
